XXXIII edition of the Palma International Boat Show is coming

From April 28 to May 2 will take place the XXXIII edition of the Palma International Boat Show and the Fourth Edition of Palma SuperYacht Show.

A fair that, in recent years, has positioned itself as one of the most important and prestigious international nautical sector appointments. The International Boat Show Palma and Palma SuperYacht Show have become the main fair of the Balearic Islands, both the volume of business generated as by the impact of the public.

The edition of this year is presented as one of the fairs with over business demand and the more technical and specialized of all carried out to date, it has been estimated at approximately 300 employees who work during the preparation of the fair, 15 % more than 2015. The fair has a more professional profile and that is a sign that the sector has the capacity to generate economy, the marine industry has become important in the Balearic Islands, especially in Majorca, and the International Boat Show   is a showcase that reflects all the activity that develops.

The edition that is about to take place has been extended, on land, about 500 meters reaching the 5,500 square meters that will house an exhibition of 600 boats (30% more than in 2015) and more than 220 exhibitors. At sea, it has expanded the number of berths from last year and will feature the largest yachts in the world such as the Native and the Eleonora, both about 50 meters long.

Simultaneously, the Fourth Edition of Palma SuperYacht Show is held, the leading trade show for luxury yachts organized by Balears Yacht Brokers Association (BYBA), considered one of the most important fairs and prestigious nautical luxury worldwide.

Gastronomy will have a significant gap in the XXXIII Palma Boat Show & IV Palma SuperYacht Show, most important restaurants of the island will offer their best dishes during the five days of the fair, restaurants like Moll Vell, Port Blanc will offer a combination of international cuisine. Mar de Nudos Restaurant, will offer a perfect blend of Mediterranean and Japanese cuisine. The prestigious Michelin star chef, Marc Fosh, will also be present at the fair, giving prominence to the ‘tapas’ in front of the menu of other years.

Puerto de Palma, surrounded by exclusive areas such as the neighborhoods of La Calatrava – Dalt Murada or the iconic district of Santa Catalina, considered the Mallorcan soho, is preparing for a vibrant, cosmopolitan and very maritime weekend. Without a doubt, the Balearic Islands are nautical!
